1 April

We organized a 'Belgian Day'. It's not a joke!

Two of the students Elien is working with, will soon visit Belgium. Alas, we cannot accompany them... So it's Elien's duty to prepare them (together with teachers who will come to Belgium as well) as much as possible.
The other students we are working with unfortunately didn't pass the contest to get to Belgium. But then of course they are all very interested in our little country! What do you eat for breakfast? Do you have a cow at home? Are there a lot of rice fields?...
Not only the students are interested, also the teacher trainers and teachers we work with.
That is why we thought it would be nice to organize a Belgian Day for the students, teachers, teacher trainers, principal and the VVOB team! As a matter of preparation for the trip to Belgium, information for the interested ones and saying thank you for the wonderful co-operation. Een heleboel vliegen in één klap!

What's on the program?

1) Belgian breakfast (Ch’ngain!) with Belgian music

2) Presentation of the educational system in Belgium with movie (starring Mario Congiu)

3) Presentation of Belgium in general with quiz

We didn't play any naughty tricks on our students since they are to lovely. But 1  April is 1 April. So we designed a special card to always remember the Belgian Day (and us):
